Commitment-phobe Sydney James only wanted a fling with filmmaker Miles Mercer. The last thing she needed on the eve of possibly making athe most important career move of her life was to fall in love.

She knows her job on the reality television show Catering to Dallas, which chronicles the inner workings of a catering company, will not last forever. If life has taught her one thing, it’s that nothing this good ever lasts. The job prospect seems perfect, but when Catering to Dallas gets a new director, suddenly things look especially delicious in the show’s kitchen.

Sydney and Miles are attracted to each other but try to resist each other because he’s the boss and one of them will leave… eventually.

However, the lines blur as the attraction grows and she is drawn into his big, loud, crazy family. Soon, they realize that few things are as important as home and family…and being together forever.
